CGHP members are the people who volunteer their time, skills and expertise to participate in global health projects in both the UK and low and middle income countries around the world. Becoming a member is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical, leadership and management skills as you work in partnership with other healthcare professionals across the world.
Whether you have just started thinking about global health work or you already have some experience and are looking for new opportunities, CGHP can support you. We provide advice, guidance, training and funding opportunities to both enable you to participate in a project, and to make sure your contribution is safe, effective and ethical.
If you’re interested in becoming a member please read through the process below and complete our Expression of Interest form.
We are committed to making CGHP a welcoming space for all diverse groups and actively encourage applications from underrepresented communities.

“I would definitely recommend international volunteering. Personally it has been an invaluable experience- I feel lucky to work at Addenbrooke’s and have the opportunity to be able to take part. Professionally I have formed links with other nursing staff around the globe, forming lifelong friendships and professional contacts.”
